Architect, Jean Nouvel Ateliers
He started as an assistant for the architect Claude Parent. Inspired by the urbanist and writer Paul Virilio, Jean Nouvel opens his first agency in 1970. His speaking out on burning issues such as the insertion of architecture in the urban context as well as the constant renewed originality of his projects in the entier world gave him an international celebrity. The recognition of his work translates into many awards both in France and abroad, including the Pritzker Prize in 2008.
